I lead the information and cyber security efforts at 10x Genomics.
Previously, I was a cybersecurity researcher at Sandia National Laboratories, developing technologies for national security.
My interests revolve around security and cyber-physical systems. I've worked on building and securing the Internet of Things, connected and autonomous vehicles, high-speed computer networks, robots, mobile devices, and transportation systems.
I received a Ph.D. from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, advised by Professor Li-Shiuan Peh. There, I invented new mobile imaging, sensing, computing, and communications systems for future urban mobility, and tested them in real cities. I also worked on physical computing and urban design at the MIT Media Lab. Before that, I received an S.B. from Harvard.
