research

My research interests include embedded systems architecture, low-power system design, and parallel and distributed computing. Recently, I've been working on sensor networks, which conveniently covers all of these areas and more.

Past projects

    • Design of a solar-powered wireless sensor node for geophysical and acoustic monitoring. [Senior Design Project]
    • Contact detection with piezoelectric film embedded in robotic fingers.
    • The effect of link flexibility and latency in teleoperated robotics.
    • Stereoscopic object tracking for a compliant robotic grasper.
